Welcome Guests Even When You Don’t Have Time to Disinfect
-

You can use the “my maid wasn’t available this week” excuse, but having a messy home can make a lasting impression on your guests. So learn how to tidy up without exposing your guests to a mess … even if you have no time to deep clean.
Simply use our 10-minute, room-by-room clean up tips, and never worry about making up an excuse for a messy home again:
Living Room
The living room is the most important area of your home to focus on when guests arrive. Tidy up in 2 minutes by:
- Fluffing pillows and folding throws
- Clear major clutter, like toys and magazines
- Spot-cleaning only surfaces with visible grime
- Using a handheld vacuum to pick up crumbs and dust bunnies in plain sight
Bathroom
A dirty bathroom can send the wrong message. So use just 2 minutes to:
- Clean the toilet seat, rim and bowl with an all-purpose, spray cleaner like Pinalen® Spray & Clean
- Wipe the sink and splatters off of the mirror
Kitchen
Eating is a daily ritual, so there’s more leeway in this area. In 2 minutes, make sure to:
- Wipe down countertops, the stove and microwave with Pinalen® all-purpose cleaner
- Hang dish towels
Dining Room
In many homes, this is where the conversations happen so you should focus your 2 minutes on:
- Clearing the table, and wipe the entire surface – use the cleaner appropriate for wood, glass, etc.
- Extra tip: if you have a bowl of fruit or decorative dish handy, set it out (it always makes the room look more put-together)
Bedroom
Last on the list because there’s an option to close a door, you’ll still need 2 minutes to:
- Pick up those clothes tossed on your floor
- Make your bed
